MCC THEATER, DIR. OF DEVELOPMENT
MCC Theater is seeking staff to join its executive team. MCC Theater is a 24-year-old non-profit Off-Broadway theater that has produced Reasons to be Pretty, Grace, Frozen, Fat Pig, and Wit, among others. Blake West, exec. dir. Position runs in NYC.
Seeking—Director of Development: male or female, highly motivated and skilled, to help support the organization in its next phase of development, with a passion for the arts, a dynamic and creative energy, and an imaginative approach to fundraising, problem solving, and relationship-building, will spearhead MCC's upcoming $5+ million capital campaign while growing the diverse yet fledgling annual fund, will work closely with and report to the executive director as well as collaborate regularly with MCC's creative leadership and board of directors, will manage one full-time campaign associate (future hire), a full-time development associate that supports both the executive director and the development department, and a freelance grant writer on a project basis, ideal candidate will have five to seven years direct experience, excellent writing and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively multitask, experiences with Raiser's edge (or comparable database), theater experience preferred.
