Back Stage is a popular magazine-style weekly newspaper (hardcopy print-edition) and digital publication read by thousands of actors and entertainment-industry professionals. The paper is sent to subscribers across the U.S. and internationally and is distributed on newsstands and bookstores throughout NY, CT, NJ, CA, and most metropolitan areas.

In every issue of Back Stage, the Casting/Jobs area of the publication is organized into easy-to-browse subcategories within four distinct sections: New York Tristate (which includes all notices calling for talent in NY, CT, or NJ), Southern California (which includes Los Angeles notices), Northern California (including calls for talent in San Francisco), and National/Regional (which includes a variety of nationally relevant items, along with all notices calling for talent from areas outside of the NY Tristate and California).

The price to run a notice in Back Stage is either $60 (for the super-popular NY Tristate section) or $30 (for all other sections) for up to 100 words, per week, per section. An additional charge of $10 will be charged for every set of 20 words exceeding the first 100 words per notice, per section (when submitting online, this “extra words” fee is only charged for the first week of the run).

You’ll see the total charge on the next page of this submission process. Before being asked for payment, you’ll be given an opportunity to edit your notice and change your options. All print notices also run online, for no additional charge.
